AFP GREATER CLEVELAND TAKES OVER THE MIDTOWN TECH HIVE

As fundraising professionals, connecting with fellow practitioners and exchanging ideas and experiences is one of our greatest opportunities to learn. That’s why, in 2024, our chapter piloted affinity groups and why our second event of the year was to gather professionals together to break into these affinity groups and resume conversations about the topics and trends shaping their work.

Over twenty (20) attendees braved the weather to gather at The Midtown Tech Hive on February 20 to connect with and learn from one another. Chapter President Mary Paxton welcomed attendees and thanked them for their commitment to our profession and support of our community.

“Today’s event is part of a renewed effort this year to bring fundraising professionals together in person to build community within our profession and invest in our growth as fundraisers," noted Vice President, Professional Development Brian Browne. "Our members' work changes lives, and AFP is committed to supporting them in that pursuit.”
